Check an employer on the UK sponsor register

Check whether an employer is on a government list of licensed visa sponsors. Every result carries the date we checked it and a link to the official source.

A fictional employer is looked up on the UK register of licensed sponsors; each result shows its route, the date it was checked and the official source, with the note that a licence is not a sponsored role.

What the video shows

0:12 long, with captions and no sound. Every person and employer in it is invented.

  1. “Check an employer against the government’s own register”

An employer name is typed into the free check. The search runs against the UK Home Office register of licensed sponsors.

  2. “Every result shows the date we checked and the official source”

Two fictional employers match. Each result shows its licence, its routes and rating, the date the register was checked and a link to the official register.

  3. “A licence to sponsor is not a sponsored role, and it says so”

The note under the results says what a licence means: the employer is licensed to sponsor, which is not the same as any particular role being sponsored. The register’s licence line is shown with it.

About it

What this part of ResumeVera does

We also read the published lists for the US, Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands, and link each to the file it came from. Being on a list means an employer has sponsored before. Whether a job can sponsor is the posting’s to say, so we quote it.

None of this is immigration advice. We give facts about employers and roles, with their sources.
