Editorial policy

Blog posts and guides on ResumeVera are credited to ResumeVera Editorial, the team that researches, writes and checks them. This page explains how that work is done, so you can judge how much to rely on what you read.

What we write about

We write about the questions people bring to our tools: what a salary offer is worth after tax and deductions, how notice periods, gratuity, PF and leave encashment work, how to format a resume or CV for a particular country, and how hiring screens applications. Most articles are tied to one of our calculators or checkers, so you can apply the answer to your own numbers.

Where facts come from

  • Rules on tax, PF, gratuity, labour law and government pay come from the government body that sets them, such as the Income Tax Department, EPFO, the Ministry of Labour and Employment or the Gazette of India. We link the source in the article.
  • US pay figures come from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics), and each page shows the release it uses.
  • We do not repeat a statistic we cannot trace to a primary source. If a rule has been announced but its date or detail has not been published, we say it is pending rather than guess.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help research and draft. An AI draft is never published as it comes out. Every article is reviewed by a person on our team before it goes live: the facts are checked against the linked sources, the calculations are rerun, and anything we cannot verify is removed.

The resume score in our checker is an AI estimate of how well a resume is structured and matched to a job. It is not a test run inside any employer's applicant tracking system, and we say so wherever the score appears.

Keeping articles current

Rules change, especially tax slabs, labour codes and visa requirements. When we find that something has changed we update the article or, if it no longer helps anyone, take it down.

What we do not do

  • We do not publish reviews, testimonials or success stories that did not happen.
  • Nothing here is legal, tax or immigration advice. For a decision that matters, check with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.

Report a mistake

If you find an error, email support@resumevera.com with the page and what is wrong. We check every report and correct what is wrong.
