The data
What an LCA is, and what we keep from it
Before an employer can file an H-1B petition, it files a labor condition application with the Department of Labor's Office of Foreign Labor Certification. The form names the job, its occupation code, the worksite, the number of workers, the wage the employer will pay and the prevailing wage for that occupation and area. OFLC publishes every decision in a disclosure file each quarter, cumulative for the fiscal year.
The file we hold is LCA_Disclosure_Data_FY2026_Q3.xlsx, dated 7 Aug 2026. It has 1,032,735 rows and covers determinations from 1 October 2025 to 30 June 2026, which is fiscal year 2026, quarters one to three. When we checked the OFLC page on 31 Oct 2026, it was still the newest LCA file listed.
From it we keep only applications with the status Certified and the visa class H-1B, which leaves out denied and withdrawn applications and the E-3 and H-1B1 visas the same file covers. That is 392,175 certified H-1B LCAs under 55,052 employer names. For each name we count its LCAs and keep its five most common occupations, its three main worksites and its industry sector.
The wage is the median of the wage rate of pay from field, on the LCAs where the employer stated the wage as a yearly amount. When an employer gave a range, that is the lower end. We show a median only when at least 5 LCAs state a yearly wage, which 9,272 of the 55,052 names do. The file also names contact people, lawyers and preparers; our extractor never reads those columns.

Google LLC filed 7,336 certified H-1B LCAs and Infosys Limited filed 4,553. The medians are $193,000 and $92,581, a gap of $100,419. It would be easy to read that as one company paying the same work twice as well as the other. The rest of the card says why it is not that simple.
The jobs differ. 67% of Google's LCAs are for Software Developers, mostly in Mountain View, CA and Sunnyvale, CA. 54% of Infosys's are for Computer Systems Engineers/Architects, and its main worksites are Richardson, TX, Hartford, CT and Austin, TX. A median across an employer mixes every occupation and city it hires in, so it describes the employer's filings, not any one job.
The counts differ too. All but 15 of Google's LCAs state a yearly wage, while 469 of Infosys's do not, so its median rests on 4,084 applications rather than all 4,553. When you compare two employers, compare the occupation and the city first, then the median.

Three of the fifteen are Amazon companies, listed separately because they file separately. The lookup above joins an employer's legal names into one, so its count for Amazon is higher than any single row here. Only 378 of the 55,052 names filed 100 certified H-1B LCAs or more; most employers in the file filed a handful.
Limits
What this lookup does not tell you
- It does not give a salary by job title. We keep one median per employer and its top occupations, not a wage for each title.
- It does not say what anyone was paid. An LCA wage is an offer on a form, and one LCA can cover more than one worker.
- It uses the lower end of a wage range, so for employers that file ranges the median is on the low side of what was offered.
- It leaves out hourly, weekly and monthly wages rather than converting them, so a part of some employers' filings is not in the median.
- It covers one fiscal year file. An employer that filed mostly in earlier years shows little or nothing here.
- Where an employer files under several legal names, the occupations, worksites and wage are those of the name with the most filings.
For a fuller picture of an employer, its US sponsorship page lists the H-1B filers hiring now and what their own adverts say about sponsorship. The Canada LMIA employer search works the same way. How we decide what each employer page says is on how we check sponsorship.
