Check an employer

Search the UK Home Office register of licensed sponsors. More countries are being added, each from its own official register.

Evidence

How we label the evidence

A licence to sponsor is not the same as a sponsored role. Every role we show will carry one of these labels, the date we checked it and a link to where the evidence came from.

Employer confirmed

The employer told us in writing that this role can be sponsored. We keep the reply and its date.

Stated in the advert

The job advert itself says visa sponsorship is available. We quote the line and link to the advert.

Licence only

The employer is on the official register of licensed sponsors, but the advert says nothing either way.

Ruled out

The advert says it cannot sponsor, or needs a nationality or security clearance. We do not show these roles.

A shortlist checked by a person

We are preparing a service that builds a shortlist of live roles in your field, each labelled with its sponsorship evidence, plus CVs tailored to the best of them. It is not on sale yet. Join the list and we will email you when it opens.

Get told when it opens

One email when the shortlist service opens. Nothing else.

Our limits

What we do not do

We never sell sponsorship, never promise a job or a visa, and never tell anyone whether they qualify for a visa. We give facts about employers and roles, with their sources.

ResumeVera is not an immigration adviser and does not give immigration advice. For advice on your own situation, speak to a regulated adviser.
