How ResumeVera compares, with sources
Side-by-side comparisons with other job search tools, written from their own public pages. Every statement about another product links to where we read it, and each page says when it was last checked: 30 October 2026.
Comparisons
Pick a comparison
ResumeVera and Jobscan
Jobscan is best known for comparing a resume with a job description and reporting a match rate. ResumeVera starts somewhere else: which jobs you can actually get, with the evidence for each one, and then a resume that reads cleanly and says nothing you did not write.
ResumeVera and Simplify
Simplify is best known for its Copilot extension, which autofills applications across a very large number of career sites. ResumeVera does not fill or submit applications; it leads instead with evidence: which employers sponsor, from government lists, and what each posting says.
Where ResumeVera differs
What every comparison leads with
The five things ResumeVera is built around, whichever tool you are weighing it against.
- Sponsor evidence from government lists. Check an employer against the government’s own list for that country: the UK Home Office register, US Department of Labor H-1B filings, Canada’s positive LMIA employers, Ireland’s employment permits by company and the Dutch IND register. Each result carries the list’s date and a link to the file. See how it works
- The posting’s own words on work rights. When an advert says it can or cannot sponsor, or needs an existing right to work, we quote that sentence rather than guess from a keyword. See how it works
- Jobs from employers’ own boards. Jobs for you reads the job boards employers run themselves in seven countries and ranks them for your resume, with the reasons in plain words. See how it works
- An ATS read-back of your own PDF. We read the text back out of the file you will send and name anything that did not come through. It is our own read-back, not an employer’s system, and the free score is labelled as an AI estimate. See how it works
- Nothing made up, checked every time. Tailoring, cover letters and answers are checked against your resume. A number, employer or skill you never gave is flagged before you see it, and your own words stay. See how it works
How we check
The rules these pages follow
- Every statement about another product comes from that product’s own website or its own Chrome Web Store listing, and links to the page we read.
- Each page carries the date it was last checked. Before we change that date, we read every source again.
- We name other products only to say which one we mean, and we do not run them down.
- We do not quote other products’ prices, because they can change without us knowing. We say how they charge and link to it.
- Where another product has more, such as more users, more sites or more countries, we say so.
- Where we could not check something, the page says so instead of guessing.
